Accompanying materials - includes transcript, school profile, resume, research abstract and any other optional items
College supplements/essays for one (1) chosen college
-
Yes. I will review your supplemental essays for one (1) chosen college. If you need more supplements reviewed, you will receive a discount link for additional application reviews, subject to demand and capacity/time.
-
Generally, no. I will review all essays and provide some edits, advice, and suggestions, but this is not a heavy-edit process. I will go through the entire application as a former AO to provide you with the AO lens. I will review the essays on their own and as part of the overall narrative to understand what stories you’re telling and how you’re telling them. If you need a heavy-edit service, consider signing up for my Essay Review service.

My service operates on a calendar system, so you choose the feedback delivery date/time on a calendar link. You can reserve a spot as early as two days from now, as long as a spot is available to you. Please complete the above form to access the calendars.
You must submit all application materials via the Intake Form at least 24 hours in advance of your feedback date/time.

First, complete the above form. Typically within a few minutes, you’ll receive more information via email (please check your spam and promotions folder before reaching out). In that email, I will send you links to calendars where you can reserve your feedback date/time. Due to demand and capacity around college admissions deadlines and as the season progresses, prices increase closer to January 1. Choose a feedback date/time for a guaranteed feedback date - I will send you a comprehensive review email as well as PDF attachments with line edits by that date/time. Please note: this is not a personal meeting. I use the calendar system to manage the number of application reviews. If you’d like to meet with me to go over feedback, you must sign up separately for a private family meeting.
-
Yes, I do. I am the only person who works for AskDrHoffman.com LLC. I’m the founder, principal, strategist, and reviewer of all materials. This is why I have limited spots available for each service, and when the spots are taken by other clients, I no longer have the time or capacity to provide assistance.

All application materials will be submitted via the Intake Form. I will send the Intake Form to you after choosing the feedback date/time. On the first page, it will outline everything that is required - before you start the form. I must receive the Intake Form and all application materials at least 24 hours in advance of the chosen feedback date/time. If I do not receive the materials, you will be subject to an additional fee to complete the process (outlined in your confirmation email).

No problem. Once you complete a purchase of one application review, I will send you a private discount link where you can purchase multiple application reviews ($200 per app) using the same platform. This means that if I review your application for Brown via the Common App, and now you need me to review your Cornell application, I can do so for an additional $200. I will send you an abbreviated Intake Form for the second applications.
If you need me to review an application outside of the same platform, you must choose another feedback date/time on the Application Review calendar. This is because it takes me more time to review applications in different platforms. For example, if you need me to review a Common Application and the MIT application, you must reserve two Application Review spots and cannot use the discount link for the MIT application.
